An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 11th minute of play forced 0 descensos's goalkeeper Adolfo Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. 0 descensos's Adolfo Adrio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of 0 descensos's Adolfo Adrio. Adolfo Adrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas-James Joshua got free with Arnout Reekers in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 32nd minute of play forced 0 descensos's goalkeeper Adolfo Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Netherlands's David Eikelkamp to fire away a dangerous shot which Adolfo Adrio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th match minute, 0 descensos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Oriche to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Conrado Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 0 descensos's Adolfo Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Adolfo Adrio however easily saved by the left post. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adolfo Adrio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas-James Joshua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 76 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Adolfo Adrio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 0 descensos made a substitution. Oscar Ermano replaced Mauricio Oriche. Adolfo Adrio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, 0 descensos's Bernabe Rojas got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when 0 descensos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Ermano in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 94th minute.
