Pedro Luís do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 91st minute of play. Roman Gregory scored 5-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Netherlands players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
