Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Radu Isaicu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Ercan Valencia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. When Eliodor Stoica fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Veseud's protests and gave Eliodor Stoica a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UFC Veseud! UFC Veseud:s Radu Isaicu showed great skill when he stopped Gijsbert ter Kruimer:s penalty. After 22 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radu Isaicu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Tunar in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercan Valencia got free with Arnout Reekers in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes in the game, Ercan Valencia dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 33rd minute of play forced UFC Veseud's goalkeeper Radu Isaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebiu Tunar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ercan Valencia sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ercan Valencia to make the kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Cornel Neghină stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Cornel Neghină tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. UFC Veseud's Ercan Valencia managed to work through Netherlands's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ercan Valencia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Radu Isaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gust Ennemans got free with Radu Isaicu in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. Radu Isaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, UFC Veseud's Radu Isaicu got control of the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egbert Nijveldt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Netherlands fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for UFC Veseud. Eusebiu Tunar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnout Reekers. 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Radu Isaicu however easily saved by the left post. Radu Isaicu made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. UFC Veseud succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Netherlands had controlled the match.
