Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Daron Joseph came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Yves Dervaux got a free kick in the 11th minute. Raymond Quintero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lenny Clocheret scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rhys Dimmock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mugurel Balaeț in the 30th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhys Dimmock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Fred Kirkpatrick kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yves Dervaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Zamalek FC's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daron Joseph, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mugurel Balaeț made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Mugurel Balaeț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 59th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Dervaux got free with Rhys Dimmock in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Raymond Quintero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Balaeț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yves Dervaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Rhys Dimmock made a huge save. Rhys Dimmock made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rhys Dimmock. That made the score 1-3 in the 79 minute of play. In the 86th minute, Leonardo Lane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Zamalek FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
