Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Nygaard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Llin in the 7th minute. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Lobo in the 13th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Sp. Mataderos's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Danilo Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Llin took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Sp. Mataderos's Faustino Llin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Llin got free with Keld Paulsen in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Abeitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sp. Mataderos's Anier Barbosa got a free kick in the 39th minute. Faustino Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. If Faustino Llin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Llin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 53rd minute of play forced Sp. Mataderos's goalkeeper Danilo Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Barbosa in the 57th minute of play. Aldo Salomone hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Danilo Abeitia in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 67th minute of play forced Sp. Mataderos's goalkeeper Danilo Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sp. Mataderos's Faustino Llin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 95th minute, Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sp. Mataderos's Faustino Llin got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sp. Mataderos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
