Michel Montenegro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Bara Miss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fritz Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Sherlock Holmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walker Bird to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Michel Montenegro managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Marshrose's Bara Miss fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bara Miss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Michel Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Jake Perrault who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Perrault in the 29th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Michel Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Bara Miss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Montenegro came out of the goal and Bara Miss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes of play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Sherlock Holmes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélio Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélio Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sherlock Holmes's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Lawrence Hopson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 42nd playminute. 46 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Sherlock Holmes came free, but Hélio Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maverick Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Deivid Goiano in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Abderaouf Bensaoula shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélio Arósio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Sherlock Holmes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lawrence Hopson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes, Maverick Futebol Clube's Deivid Goiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélio Arósio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maverick Futebol Clube reached it. Sherlock Holmes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jake Perrault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jake Perrault was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Marshrose's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal.
