When Rafael Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bresser III Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Furlan couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Sherlock Holmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabinho Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Sherlock Holmes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabinho Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Sherlock Holmes slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Bresser III Futebol Clube's Fabinho Monteiro got control of the ball when Sherlock Holmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Sherlock Holmes notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bresser III Futebol Clube's Fabinho Monteiro. Fabinho Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sherlock Holmes to maneuver through the defense. Michel Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Furlan in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Almir Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Montenegro. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Almir Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Catarinense in the 44th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Michel Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sherlock Holmes's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sherlock Holmes to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Sherlock Holmes notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Bresser III Futebol Clube's Fabinho Monteiro. Fabinho Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55thth minute of the game Sherlock Holmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresser III Futebol Clube's Fabinho Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56 minutes of play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Wit Chuchro made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabinho Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredinho Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fabinho Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherlock Holmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when Bresser III Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Sherlock Holmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. Michel Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Wiliam Gomes sent off a good shot on target. After 80 played minutes Bresser III Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Tony Palmeira. Fabinho Monteiro came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Maverick Futebol Clube's Vinícius Haaland. But to his dismay, Vinícius Haaland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. Vinícius Haaland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Monteiro having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Bresser III Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Sherlock Holmes came free, but Fabinho Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Bresser III Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Sherlock Holmes came free, but Fabinho Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bresser III Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
