Mila Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Mesías in the 16th minute of play. Rio Arrascaeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Sandro Tepedino made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rio Arrascaeta got free with Sandro Tepedino in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Odeen in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Tepedino saved Que se abra o mar from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ove Odeen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sandro Tepedino came out and tried to block the shot, but Ove Odeen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tato Vega to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, ALTHENTIC F.C's goalkeeper Mila Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tato Vega.
