Flóki Factor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Alysson Rezende made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flóki Factor got free with Alysson Rezende in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dolfo Burgo came out of the goal and Igor Cavalera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Nicko McBrain replaced Alex Van Halen. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ogro F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arif Onurhan was slow to take the kick. During this time Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s players had a chance to rest.
