Leão de Judá's Gadiel Gadov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Leão de Judá from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Azevedo came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leão de Judá's Freddy Rincón got a free kick in the 26th minute.
