Lucjan Adamowicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Wilson Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Portugal's Viriato Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucjan Adamowicz took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Adamowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 44th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lucjan Adamowicz made the kick off in the second half. Felipinho Amorims short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Sebastião Xoxe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 98th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
