But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Cytrynski couldn't finish the play. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wieslaw Mazierz in the 19th minute. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincenty Gdaniec having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dawid Cytrynski. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dawid Cytrynski in the 39th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, FC Pierońskie Hanysy's Dawid Cytrynski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wincenty Gdaniec came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Lajos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wincenty Gdaniec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Thorbjørn Brunswick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
