Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Servando Dorado took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Xulio Medina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, ReyPoxo's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Xulio Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xulio Medina. Xulio Medina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 21st minute, David Eikelkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Xulio Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Piorno Acedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ReyPoxo and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ReyPoxo's Piorno Acedo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

ReyPoxo made a substitution. Rubio Solo replaced Servando Dorado. ReyPoxo's Ander Aguado was substituted for Máximo Vadillos. The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Xulio Medina was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars Meesters showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xulio Medina came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 63 minutes into the match, ReyPoxo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Xulio Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xulio Medina. ReyPoxo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ReyPoxo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubio Solo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xulio Medina was a little too slow when Wim Wilmes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-8. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ander Aguado in the 85th minute of play. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Xulio Medina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andrés Olmos lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The audience was convinced that Wim Wilmes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xulio Medina was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
