In the 12th minute, Ernesto Martini made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 19th minute, Felipe Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Tammaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Fedele Panza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by Enzo Di Placido in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. 35 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Tammaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felice Cirigliano during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Fedele Panza made the kick off in the second half. Felice Cirigliano got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Felice Cirigliano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lunatics of Arianrhod's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristoforo Tammaro came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Johan Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cristoforo Tammaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 61st minute. Felipe Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Cristoforo Tammaro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Tammaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristoforo Tammaro made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes, Felipe Barreto made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Cristoforo Tammaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Felipinho Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Cristoforo Tammaro to make any attempt to save it. 84 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Felipinho Amorim came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Bartolomeu Dias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristoforo Tammaro. Bartolomeu Dias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. 95 minutes into the game, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Johan Ström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
