Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Eliseo Cutri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Makis Apostolakis in the 3 minute of the game. In the 4th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Santos in the 7th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Santos in the 15th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Makis Apostolakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Xande Chaves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. The supporters of Italy booed when ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio Santos to make the kick off. Xande Chaves hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italy were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gianpaolo Mascari got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Vítor Arósio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 54 minutes into the game, Gianpaolo Mascari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. João Vítor Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Ahlström in the 57th minute of play. Antônio Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but João Vítor Arósio made a huge save. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes was substituted for Antônio Santos. In the 72nd minute, Makis Apostolakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but João Vítor Arósio made a huge save. Arthur Guedes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙. João Vítor Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 81st minute. Eliseo Cutri kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. After 83 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Cutri. Arthur Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play, Italy's Adriano Curto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Vítor Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there!
