A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Almeida in the 78th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Åke Högberg in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute of the game Joaquim Ferraz made a throw-in which Henrique Durães played forward. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Cina, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes of play, SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA's Hugo Almeida made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there!
