In the 93rd minute Hugo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Claudio Cina hit a great ball. Adolfo Moreira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Micah Macdonald. England played a much better game than SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA and deserved their victory. The SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
