Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ove Salkvist's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 10th minute. Isaac Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Veronica showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Isaac Jonasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 21st minute of play. Lorencio Irarrázaval hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ove Salkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Salkvist in the 29th minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Ove Salkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Ove Salkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Ove Salkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Salkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Ove Salkvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Salkvist in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Veronica in the 53rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes, Ove Salkvist made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Ove Salkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Ove Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of BK Gubbhöft booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans-Georg Luabunnum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Hans-Georg Luabunnum scored 8-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 97th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that BK Gubbhöft were the better team. BK Gubbhöft's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
