Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Ramos in the 9th minute. Marius Niculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 19th minute of play. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 24th minute of play forced FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Marius Niculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 25th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Vlădoiu in the 27th minute of play. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Pantiș went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FC BRADUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Papaiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, FC BRADUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Marius Niculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, David Eikelkamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marius Niculescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Pantiș was the one to do the kick off. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC BRADUL -MM- from getting a goal against them. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
