An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 13th minute of play forced Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Daniel Hök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gýmir Gryc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Pajala Sunrise were awarded a corner. Gnýr Gnaust went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Pajala Sunrise's Yngve Sandström to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pajala Sunrise were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gnýr Gnaust took the corner. After taking down the ball on Pajala Sunrise's corner Gnýr Gnaust fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Pajala Sunrise's Daniel Hök played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Larsfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yngve Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Einar Larsfelt's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Einar Larsfelt helped the player get up and apologised. Pajala Sunrise's Sebastian Tolsson was substituted for Gnýr Gnaust. Pajala Sunrise's Arne Tingelholm was substituted for Gýmir Gryc. After 66 played minutes Pajala Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Einar Larsfelt. 69 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's Arne Tingelholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Hök when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Arne Tingelholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala Sunrise's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Hök came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Odén hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Antal Valentin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Daniel Hök skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Arne Tingelholm got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pajala Sunrise.
