The wind increased when Pablo Lampard made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Robert Babicki got a free kick in the 51st minute. Dong Yang Bang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Koios Panayiotopoulos. Sport Clube Recife's Percy Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Clube Recife from getting a goal against them. Sport Clube Recife's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dong Yang Bang in the 80th minute. Dong Yang Bang made a great header on Sport Clube Recife's corner, it was just that OMONOIA's Koios Panayiotopoulos managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Lampard in the 82nd minute of play forced OMONOIA's goalkeeper Koios Panayiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by OMONOIA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Koios Panayiotopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
