Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Jilek, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Erik Jilek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ostroveni's Silviu Lung was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Mihai Paulică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silviu Lung came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Czech Republic reached it. FC Ostroveni's Silviu Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Jilek in the 25th minute of play. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Rezek in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Kvetoslav Janku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 36th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Dostal during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Denis Dostal hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

FC Ostroveni's Silviu Lung proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ostroveni from getting a goal against them. When Moise Armanca fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ostroveni's protests and gave Moise Armanca a yellow card for diving instead. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dostal in the 62nd minute of play. Ilie Enceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Dalimil Charvat got a free kick in the 68th minute. Costel Bărbulescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Ostroveni's Silviu Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dostal in the 74th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Luca Buricea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Jilek succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 89th minute of play forced FC Ostroveni's goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Enceanu in the 90th minute of play. The Czech Republic players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
