After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Shi Cheng Chao got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Stefano in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 陶渊伟 who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that 陶渊伟 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 22ndth minute of the game Major Barna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castanheiro SC's Wincent Dropinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wincent Dropinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. José Pedro Carneiro hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Stefano's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's Alfredo Stefano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Alfredo Stefano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 44th minute, Alfredo Stefano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Castanheiro SC's Hélder Schmidt was substituted for Shi Cheng Chao. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alfredo Stefano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Stefano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Stefano in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Castanheiro SC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
