Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Lars Steen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Ching saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Tedj Sellal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afiz Ching stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 25 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. In the 35th minute, Bolivar's Tedj Sellal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 39 minutes into the game, Senijad Ibričić threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Hamid Merah-Benida came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Bolivar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamid Merah-Benida couldn't finish the play. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Cordrey in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tedj Sellal to make the kick off. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tedj Sellal in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goalkeeper Afiz Ching had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Steen. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Brett Cordrey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelmalek Belhadj, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tedj Sellal in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Bolivar booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hamid Merah-Benida came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bolivar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamid Merah-Benida couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Tedj Sellal sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. Tedj Sellal scored 5-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tedj Sellal in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tedj Sellal's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahalom Macklev in the 96th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
