Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hermínio Barbosa got the match started through his kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cameron Diaz having to interfere. Zarco Severiano in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cameron Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer, in the 20th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. David Eikelkamp got in the 24th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cameron Diaz handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when David Eikelkamp sped through SC Serrinho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cameron Diaz. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Zarco Severiano sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cameron Diaz. Cameron Diaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. SC Serrinho's Cameron Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. Cameron Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SC Serrinho defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cameron Diaz. The SC Serrinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cameron Diaz should have stopped the shot. Júlio Valério kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The SC Serrinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Cameron Diaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 53rd minute. Cameron Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes scored 0-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cameron Diaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Barbosa in the 77th minute of play. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cameron Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cameron Diaz having to interfere. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Zarco Severiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Serrinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zarco Severiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
