Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Mugurel Balaeț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mugurel Balaeț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Zamalek FC's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mugurel Balaeț, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Zamalek FC's Mugurel Balaeț slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 15th minute Tytus Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of the match. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhys Dimmock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Joseph in the 24th minute of the match. When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 28th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Dimmock having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Schukin came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daron Joseph. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Banaszak in the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhys Dimmock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Zamalek FC's Viktor Schukin. But to his dismay, Viktor Schukin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhys Dimmock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Viriato Moura scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rhys Dimmock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 57th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Schukin in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Joseph in the 65th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 71st minute of play. Felipe Barreto scored 3-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rhys Dimmock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Zamalek FC's Leonardo Lane was substituted for Daron Joseph. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Sergey Krasinskiy replaced Tytus Banaszak. Zack Grier made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elin Elin. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Balaeț in the 80th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Zack Grier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 84th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Schukin in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rhys Dimmock came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. But to his dismay, Felipinho Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Portugal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
