Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) PAOK's Anestis Tzougarakis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the PAOK defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markos Bibis. The PAOK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markos Bibis should have stopped the shot. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Markos Bibis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 19th minute of the match. PAOK's Markos Bibis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the PAOK defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markos Bibis. The PAOK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markos Bibis should have stopped the shot. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nasos Patakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Markos Bibis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balazs Lajos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Balazs Lajos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 40th minute, Takacs Tibor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PAOK's Markos Bibis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 44th minute of play. Markos Bibis came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Tomaras in the 52nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Ilias Mitsias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Antal Valentin in the 54th minute really tested Markos Bibis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Bibis having to interfere. With a little luck, PAOK's Markos Bibis got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Kalokliros came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilias Mitsias during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hungary booed when PAOK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilias Mitsias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Stathis Kalokliros managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAOK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stathis Kalokliros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Markos Bibis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute of the match Antal Valentin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markos Bibis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Markos Bibis made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. PAOK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Antal Valentin scored to the left of an out of position Markos Bibis, making the score, 0-5. 87 minutes into the match, PAOK's goalkeeper Markos Bibis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Markos Bibis in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Kalokliros came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Stathis Kalokliros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAOK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stathis Kalokliros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Markos Bibis firmly grabbed it by the left post.
