The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mitja Wollstadt's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Geiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Vörös Henrik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the Fire Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Geiger having to interfere.
