Wetterqvist Boys BK's Nils-Åke Dahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 8th minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Åke Dahlqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Åke Dahlqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Snell in the 21st minute of the match. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Dervaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Snell came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Låsberg in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wetterqvist Boys BK's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Dahlqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yves Dervaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Guillaume Bonte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Erik Låsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Timmy Bergfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Wetterqvist Boys BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmy Bergfeldt couldn't finish the play. Wetterqvist Boys BK made a substitution. Östen Holmberg replaced Sten Norberg. In the 74th minute Gustaf Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes, Åke Olenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wetterqvist Boys BK and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. Åke Olenberg hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 85th minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Låsberg in the 90th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
