Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. BPS F.C.'s Thanasis Triantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the BPS F.C. defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thanasis Triantis. The BPS F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thanasis Triantis should have stopped the shot. When Stratos Goumas fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BPS F.C.'s protests and gave Stratos Goumas a yellow card for diving instead. Stratos Goumas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Balazs Lajos scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanasis Triantis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Takacs Tibor in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Triantis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Kostas Romanakoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes in the game, Kostas Romanakoglou dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, BPS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Thanasis Triantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Hegedus Henrik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thanasis Triantis quite easily take care of the ball. BPS F.C.'s Thanasis Triantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanasis Triantis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 33 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thanasis Triantis. BPS F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in BPS F.C.'s zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Triantis came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanasis Triantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 40th minute of the match. Major Barna scored 0-5 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanasis Triantis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fanis Prekkas to make the kick off. BPS F.C.'s Thanasis Triantis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save BPS F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanasis Triantis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Major Barna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thanasis Triantis. Major Barna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Thanasis Triantis in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. A hard shot 73 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Thanasis Triantis managed to make a qualified save. BPS F.C.'s players were relieved. With his leg Thanasis Triantis managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Hungary's Hegedus Henrik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Triantis having to interfere. BPS F.C.'s Thanasis Triantis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save BPS F.C. from getting a goal against them. Hegedus Henrik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Triantis having to interfere.
