The crowd rose to their feet as La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Matxin Maliaño slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Apolo Chica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 54th minute of play. England were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after La Vieja Guardia Jrs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Micah Macdonald took the corner. 63 minutes into the match, Alex Pedrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Pedrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
