Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Pipon Pipon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jannes Ruttens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 22nd minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wim Wilmes sped through C. A. Pipon Pipon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jannes Ruttens. 31 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Cristóvão Ortiz got a free kick in the 34th minute. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The C. A. Pipon Pipon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-3.

54 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 60th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannes Ruttens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Bryson in the 68th minute of play. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm McIntosh, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the game, one of Netherlands:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Netherlands:s Arnout Reekers showed great skill when he stopped Nicky Bryson:s penalty. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannes Ruttens having to interfere. With a little luck, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Malcolm McIntosh scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm McIntosh in the 90th minute of play. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Bryson in the 97th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
