Lucero Agnese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. The supporters of Hungary booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Leiria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suprs Academia's Miguel Prod'Homme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 22nd minute of play. Miguel Prod'Homme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Balazs Lajos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Miguel Prod'Homme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Prod'Homme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. In the 51st minute, João Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Prod'Homme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 52nd minute of the match. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Miguel Prod'Homme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game Robert Dinamite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match, Balazs Lajos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miguel Prod'Homme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
