It was Amdi Talmer who took care of the corner kick. YNWA classic's Kjeld Gerneke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jarl Andreasson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind AIF's goalkeeper Jarl Andreasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Carl Kilman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of YNWA classic booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Kilman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valter Aablad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Kullgren in the 36th minute. After 39 played minutes YNWA classic got a freekick which was hit by Therkil Aunfelt. 40 minutes into the match, YNWA classic's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Frykberg came free, but Valter Aablad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmind Mather kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Valter Aablad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenneth Frisk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
