After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Kenneth Frisk managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Frisk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gremengo FCCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Gremengo FCCMZ's Elco Das looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elco Das kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match, Elco Das tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jarl Andreasson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the match, AIF's Jim Frykberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Gremengo FCCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Armando Messi to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Efraim Morais cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jarl Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 39 in the game by Efraim Morais from a close distance when the talented Jarl Andreasson managed to make a qualified save. AIF's players were relieved. Efraim Morais who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Jarl Andreasson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Elco Das came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Gremengo FCCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elco Das couldn't finish the play. Lenílson Donato charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenílson Donato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Lenílson Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elco Das was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the AIF defense, Elco Das kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarl Andreasson. The AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarl Andreasson should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Perttu Bado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jarl Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elco Das scored 5-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarl Andreasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gremengo FCCMZ's Fred Lara was substituted for Elco Das. 88 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Lara came free, but Jarl Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarl Andreasson came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Gremengo FCCMZ's Fred Lara. But to his dismay, Fred Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 94 minutes into the match, Fred Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarl Andreasson. AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Gremengo FCCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
