An unexpectedly hard shot by Firme Verga in the 11th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firme Verga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Evelio Milian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Gabriele Batistuta notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chelsea Football Club's Evelio Milian. Evelio Milian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chelsea Football Club's Evelio Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Firme Verga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Firmin in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chelsea Football Club's Evelio Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 31st minute of play. Chelsea Football Club's Uriel Ralondo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Camilo Salvidor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Chelsea Football Club defense, Gabriele Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Milian. The Chelsea Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Milian should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedek Komáromi came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Menchu FC's corner Armando Roland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evelio Milian quite easily take care of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Benedek Komáromi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Camilo Salvidor made a huge save. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Menchu FC from getting a goal against them. Camilo Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafal Jakubiak's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Benedicto Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Camilo Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Rafal Jakubiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafal Jakubiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Menchu FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
