An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Janiczek in the 3rd minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Janiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Sebastian Veron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robert Haegg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Baumer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Bernard Janiczek might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xie Bang Ang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernard Janiczek ran back to his position shaking his head. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Janiczek in the 24th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Samuel Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Xie Bang Ang successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 37 minutes into the match, Bernard Janiczek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xie Bang Ang. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Janiczek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Enhebrator FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benjy Muller was slow to take the kick. During this time ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Benjy Muller to fire away a dangerous shot which Bonifacio Baumer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Bernard Janiczek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enhebrator FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Janiczek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernard Janiczek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Enhebrator FC's zone, Robert Haegg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Baumer came out of the goal and Robert Haegg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enhebrator FC's Carlos Calvet was substituted for Sebastian Veron. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Clemente Beltran replaced Guaberto Matro. In the 63rd minute, Emilio Gonzales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitt Back hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Baumer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Samuel Vela. When Florentino Berasko came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Berasko couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Enhebrator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Berasko came free, but Bonifacio Baumer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Bonifacio Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Berasko in the 82nd minute of play. Bonifacio Baumer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Gonzales's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Clemente Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bonifacio Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Beltran. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
