Bella Vista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Calvet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metod Mlynar in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apu Lama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Oliver Holub got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metod Mlynar was the one to do the kick off. Apu Lama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Holub, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Txanton in the 54th minute of play. Guaberto Boniel got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Baldomiro Acuña. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Txanton in the 57th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes in the game Albino Demario did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Norberto Txanton. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Calvet in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Benedicto Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Txanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes in the game Baldomiro Acuña did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pedro Calvet. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Txanton in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Bella Vista F.C booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Holub didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Txanton in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Calvet came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vavrinec Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kornel Jahoda to maneuver through the defense.
