Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes IKS Norrköping got a freekick which was hit by Allan Bruse. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Stefan Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Sigfridsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Emanuel Sigfridsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Sigfridsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Sigfridsson came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, IKS Norrköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Skröder to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, IKS Norrköping's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Emanuel Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, one of IKS Norrköping:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emanuel Sigfridsson had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Gijsbert ter Kruimer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute, Stefan Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Fredriksson was the one to do the kick off. Emanuel Sigfridsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelle Jönsätt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Jönsätt in the 54th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Fredriksson in the 54th minute of play. When Simon Dahlman came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the IKS Norrköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Dahlman couldn't finish the play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after IKS Norrköping's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Emanuel Sigfridsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ekeberg in the 73rd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Sigfridsson could save by the left post. In the 83rd minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IKS Norrköping's Karl-Ove Lägdin was substituted for Ulf Groth. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play, IKS Norrköping's Simon Dahlman made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Sigfridsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Emanuel Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
