An unexpectedly hard shot by Issac Dawson in the 4th minute of play forced Colorado Avalanche's goalkeeper Narcis Manea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Colorado Avalanche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Dragotescu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Colorado Avalanche booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Jurăscu. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vit Doro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Colorado Avalanche's Filip Agulescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Oleg Chepelevskiy came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cooper Thompson hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Bogdan Jurăscu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Jurăscu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyle Cox in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Manea saved Colorado Avalanche from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Vit Doro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Cox. The crowd rose to their feet as Colorado Avalanche's Oleg Chepelevskiy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 4-0 after 44 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogdan Jurăscu was the one to do the kick off. Khalid Kennedy came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Colorado Avalanche's Vit Doro. But to his dismay, Vit Doro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vit Doro in the 56th minute of play. Narcis Manea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 59th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, England's Kyle Cox nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narcis Manea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Narcis Manea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. After 68 played minutes Colorado Avalanche got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Aluchei. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oleg Chepelevskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Issac Dawson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Colorado Avalanche were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of England for a fine match.
