Ruddi Berendsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 10th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elmar Lexbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bent Streyder in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Graciano Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Lexbo in the 18th minute of play. Elmar Lexbo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Wilson Amorim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bent Streyder. In the 22nd minute Elmar Lexbo suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 23rd minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 25th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bent Streyder was slow to take the kick. During this time Holmkjar Hotspurs's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Holmkjar Hotspurs's corner Bent Streyder fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. When Holmkjar Hotspurs's Bent Streyder in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Bent Streyder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel pulled a muscle in his leg after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Daniel Pimentel. After 37 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Reumert. In the 38th minute of the match Felipe Barreto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tristan Nordlet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Kalle Molnit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graciano Coutinho during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Kalle Molnit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Kalle Molnit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Kalle Molnit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bent Streyder to strike the kick off in the second half. Tristan Nordlet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Barreto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 64 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Bent Streyder made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Bent Streyder succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 80th minute of the game, Claes Katsir landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 81st match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomeu Dias to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Ulf Pilshøj sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Amorim skillfully saved the ball. If Bent Streyder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Kalle Molnit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmkjar Hotspurs's Bent Streyder. But to his dismay, Bent Streyder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 95th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
