Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Patora in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Witold Lepucki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. He Lin Di received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Patora in the 13th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Veth Crystals players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 16th minute. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of He Lin Di's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gwidon Patora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gwidon Patora made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 54th minute. Roland Czerniejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Patora in the 67th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofil Walczyk hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Lizewski in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartosz Lizewski in the 77th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Sachs during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Gwidon Patora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Bartosz Lizewski made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 92 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. With a little luck, Veth Crystals's Roland Czerniejewski got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Veth Crystals's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
