An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 3rd minute of play forced RØSANEGRA's goalkeeper Willian Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Magalhães in the 5th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When England's Micah Macdonald in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RØSANEGRA's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in RØSANEGRA's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Cordeiro came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Magalhães did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Khalid Kennedy 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Caelan Hayes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaká Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Khalid Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalid Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Magalhães went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to RØSANEGRA getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Romeu Sá hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Micah Macdonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Willian Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issac Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Khalid Kennedy came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by RØSANEGRA's Almir Pena. But to his dismay, Almir Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Willian Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Macdonald got free with Willian Cordeiro in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of England booed when RØSANEGRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Willis. When Cooper Thompson fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored England's protests and gave Cooper Thompson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Cooper Thompson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RØSANEGRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Almir Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalid Kennedy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in RØSANEGRA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, RØSANEGRA's Helder Guimarães got a free kick in the 84th minute. RØSANEGRA's Willian Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save RØSANEGRA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Magalhães in the 89th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Michel Toscano put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Willian Cordeiro, was totally fooled by England's Micah Macdonald, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Oscar Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RØSANEGRA getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Oscar Magalhães hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
