San Lorenzo de Mar del's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Mar del's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Medardo came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Stellan Artois's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led San Lorenzo de Mar del's Stellan Artois to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jorge Ordono charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Ordono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
