Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Vonk in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, FC Dundee's Hardi Lind nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lev Yashin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. FC Dundee's Tom Are proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dundee from getting a goal against them. Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Luuk in the 15th minute of play. FC Dundee's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Moonen in the 44th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arno Luuk to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Sten Vonk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dundee and the Conjunto Paisa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Sten Vonk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Angel came free, but Tom Are reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Dundee defense, Tomás Angel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Are. The FC Dundee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Are should have stopped the shot. Arno Luuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lev Yashin having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Conjunto Paisa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 董棋鹰 to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, FC Dundee's Martin Moonen tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Vonk in the 74th minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Conjunto Paisa's Frichoso Ondovilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tom Are made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 85th minute Freddy Roig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Are saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Are took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Angel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes FC Dundee got a freekick which was hit by Hardi Lind. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Arno Luuk sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Conjunto Paisa's Tomás Angel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Sten Vonk took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lev Yashin. Lev Yashin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Dundee eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
