Elias Saldanha made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabiano Andreoli immediately put the ball in play. In the 24thth minute of the game Gorka Astola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torino SSA's Benjamin de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorka Astola in the 36th minute of play forced Torino SSA's goalkeeper Benjamin de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute of the match, Luizão Loureiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edilberto Beguellina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
