In the 31st minute Sigitas Ivoška shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Kemal was a little too slow when Du Yuan Chao got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Eugenijus Gureckas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Du Yuan Chao in the 45th minute of play forced FK Mintis Vilnius's goalkeeper Mustafa Kemal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes, Rolandas Baltruika mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Mintis Vilnius and the LVCVS AVGVSTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Du Yuan Chao was the one to do the kick off. Rosario Escarza came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Mintis Vilnius's Aurelijus Balūzis. But to his dismay, Aurelijus Balūzis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 59th play minute Aurelijus Balūzis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rosario Escarza. 4-2. In the 62nd match minute, FK Mintis Vilnius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenijus Gureckas to maneuver through the defense. Benediktas Zaleckas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of LVCVS AVGVSTI booed when FK Mintis Vilnius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benediktas Zaleckas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Ronny Skytt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mustafa Kemal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LVCVS AVGVSTI reached it. FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Skytt in the 71st minute of play. In the 87th minute Du Yuan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Kemal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosario Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kęstutis Skersys, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.

LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
