The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Zaworski to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Efe Akarsu came free, but Eugeniusz Wachna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Yoakim Nakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Wachna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Zbigniew Zaworski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when İbrahim Efe Akarsu sped through 2kC Poznań's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugeniusz Wachna. Tymoteusz Harendarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lasse Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugeniusz Wachna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Eugeniusz Wachna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 33rd minute of the match. Eugeniusz Wachna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Eugeniusz Wachna came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Hagmoren BK's Volkan Saltık. But to his dismay, Volkan Saltık quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 46 minutes into the match, Volkan Saltık notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of 2kC Poznań's Eugeniusz Wachna. Eugeniusz Wachna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tymoteusz Harendarski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Wachna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İbrahim Efe Akarsu. With a little luck, 2kC Poznań's Eugeniusz Wachna got control of the ball when İbrahim Efe Akarsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Conny Alebeck fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hagmoren BK's protests and gave Conny Alebeck a yellow card for diving instead. Lucjan Sokol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lasse Eriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, İbrahim Efe Akarsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Eugeniusz Wachna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eugeniusz Wachna stood somewhat misplaced when Volkan Saltık came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 82 minute. İbrahim Efe Akarsu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Eugeniusz Wachna 85 minutes into the match. If Yoakim Nakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lasse Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Sokol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
