When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Augustin Staalfos put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Remigio Valerón. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rey Northe in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Cidro saved F.C. København from getting behind. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Rey Northe made a precise shot to the right of Blas Cidro. F.C. København's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Rey Northe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. København players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of F.C. For all the effort they put into the match, the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C. København.
