F.C. Sosnowiec's Dominik Zworski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. Injuries's Shi Kun Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Czerniak in the 79th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Tøger Aspman in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C. Sosnowiec's Baba Kosa. 88 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Lindknud came free, but Dominik Zworski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The F.C. Sosnowiec supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing F.C. Sosnowiec would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
